Hey all,
I’m sorry for the lack of update over the past 3 months. I had every intention to update my blog but then a family tragedy happened, we moved, and work has been kicking my ass! However, I am back and have many great fishing stories to tell! Expect updates before the end of the month!
Hope everyone is out fishing this summer!
Cheers!

Have you ever tried fishing at night? It’s an absolute delight and a must try for all you lovers of fishing.
When we reached our destination, it was cold and absolutely dark. We could not see a thing, not even our own fingers. Everything around us was calm, still and quiet. There were no people except for my four friends and me.
Obviously we had taken a flash light and that was our only source of light. All our fishing gears were carefully packed by one of our companions and he had indeed done a good job. He knew where everything was and we didn’t have to waste any time.
We proceeded towards the water. First we found a spot away from the bushes and trees. We cast and waited silently. The gentle sound of the water was all we could hear. We waited patiently for 45 minutes but none of us had any luck.
We then moved to a corner nearer to the trees and bushes. Luck finally favored us and I caught a big trout. I kept fumbling and it was not all that easy in the dark. In 3 hours I caught 7 fish (5 medium-sized, 2 big). It was an absolutely memorable experience.
Planning on another night fishing trip soon, wanna join me?

We are back from our family fishing trip. Oh! What a trip it was. We were a total of 17 people (uncles, aunties, cousins). It was more of a picnic time for the entire family. We were all so excited. It was already decided that the men would do the fishing while the women would prepare a delicious meal.
We left early next morning. After a lot of arguing, we decided to go to the closest river so that we don’t waste much time traveling. We reached the place and I must admit that it was a beautiful place. There was all greenery around us and the birds were chirping. The sky was bright and blue and the river water was clear. The men then got ready with all their fishing rods.
The women were getting everything ready for the roasting. Not that we underestimated the men but we didn’t expect them to catch so much fish. There were four big salmons and several small fish. They were joking, singing and having fun fishing in that clear water. The men made sure to keep us ladies busy.
We did an excellent job and everyone relished the fish and chips, sipping chilled beer and enjoying the scenic beauty. We truly had a ball of a time.
